This was a GREAT school!! We had so much fun… mostly a Hispanic and black crowd, the predominant genres were latin (Reggaeton, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata) and hip-hop/rap. They got the biggest setup that would fit in their “mall” area. Here’s the cool thing about this area. It IS set up JUST like a mall! All the classrooms are set up like stores and the big hallway is set up like a central food court lounge. This was a lot of fun.. the teachers were great and the students were awesome to deal with. My MySpace page was hit with a few “thank you’s.” Enjoy!   These photos here are only 30 minutes into the dance! Opening Ceremony featuring dancers from a local Tampa, Fl university! And now the crunkness begins! Even teachers were dancing! Lots of haze!!! During the King & Queen dance, I played Joe’s I Wanna Know. I also put the lyrics and let everyone sing along! Do you see all this haze!! The laser is turned on and about to begin it’s “liquid...

School DJ in Haines City, Homecoming Dance

Need a DJ? Want to contact me? Click here Want to book an amazing DJ/MC from the company for yoru school event? Click here Click the link below for photos from Haines City High!! Haines City High is a small school with big spirit. The theme was 50s and the students LOVED the music we played… not just hip-hop, but techno, rock, and they kept requesting 50s all the way through 80s. This is certainly different than most homecomings.  The package they chose is a small, modest one, but it packed a big bang compared to previous years (according to students). The students were VERY well behaved.. there were a few that wanted Slipknot and Manson, when they learned I couldn’t play that kind of music, they understood, were polite, and requested something different. The uplighting featuring various shades of pink really fit the theme! They also had a special performance by Elvis. 🙂 It was a young kid (maybe 7-8) donning an Elvis outfit showing some great moves to his song. For his privacy and safety, I did not snap any photos to be put online. Swing dancing… yes, Glenn Miller! Uplighting can be seen in the background. A bay bay! Cha Cha Slide is looped and playing.. everyone’s making room for the dance! Follow De Leader! “Jump and Wave” Still following the leader, lol. The Jive Bunny Megamix. 4 LEDs really flooded the gym! In the Ayer! A floor shot of the setup.   The entire setup.. simple, modest.. but POWERFUL. And no, that’s not a disco ball on either side. 4 LEDs and a centerpiece lit that Gym...
